LIAG First Wednesday
Monthly Gatherings

Monthly gatherings will take place in the first week of every month on the first Wednesday of that week. These meetings will have different themes as scheduled. Some meetings are open forums where members discuss topics pertaining to writing, publishing and marketing. Some meetings will have book showcases where members present a brief summary of their books including interesting challenges and creative features.  Some meetings will have a scheduled presenter of interest to the group.

February 1st

Presentation by Author Jean Derespina: Creating a Successful Marketing Plan for 2023.

March 1st

Authors Open Forum

April 12th

Presentation by Valerie Nifora, best selling author and marketing consultant: Branding for Authors.

May 3rd

LIAG Literary Awards Presentation, followed by a presentation by Carol Hoenig: On The Road Book Events.

June 7th

Presentation of the LIAG Founders' Award, followed by a panel discussion with LIAG's Founder, John Cardone, President John Kahn and Events Co-chair, Dan Mariani as they discuss the new LIAG Presentation Catalogue.

July-August

There are no events planned for July through August.

September 6th

Presentation by Katy Tatzel of Greene Digital Marketing LLC: Author Marketing Strategies.

October 4th

Presentation by Kerriann Flanagan Brosky: Writing about the Paranormal—What sparked her interest and how she became involved in its effects.

November 1st

Topic to be announced.

December 6th

Celebration of the LIAG Annual Holiday Party.
