After retiring from his career in education, Erwin (Erv) Krause finally found the time needed to devote to his love of writing.
His first book, Escape from the USA, published in 2017, describes a real-life motorcycle adventure undertaken by Krause and a buddy during the tumultuous 1960s. The second book, Escape from The Front, is his first fiction piece. Any similarity in titles is completely intentional.
Krause lives in the "Artist Colony" section of Oakdale, LI, and Manhattan's Upper East Side with his long time partner and muse, Lois Hoffman. Before just dropping in on them, call first. There's a good chance that a shared life of adventure will find them in some far-flung corner of the globe or maybe hiking in the nearby Catskill Mountains.
