Robert J. Williams

Robert Williams is a proud resident of the Wyandanch community. As a child he attended MLK Elementary School and graduated Wyandanch Memorial High School valuing the art of writing. Through self-reflection, Robert Williams spoken word will captivate you as he delivers unique jaw-dropping poetry. Williams shares moments of frustration, a depiction of conquering substance abuse, and how one survives a near death experience.

Miracle Vehicle is his book that offers young people insight to real life experience that erupts social consciousness. Young people will read and re-live Williams small moments that left a great impact on his life's decisions.

Writing has connected Williams to his purpose. He's able to channel the power of writing through poetry and prose. Writing has given Williams a voice, and he finds himself humble and expansive. Williams has become a vessel, an instrument to share personal incidents as well as a life changing near-death accident.

Robert is living victory and that victory can go viral and become contagious enduring some of the most difficult times. He has triumphed and remains a beacon of light. Williams has toppled many struggles. He knives through showing the many anything is possible. Williams believes in himself and encourages others to do the same.

Robert Williams work has been published in 50BOLD.COM. Williams continues to strengthen the art of memoir writing through the support of African Voices Communication—a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to fostering a cultural awareness through literature art and film.
