C. B. Knadle (Charlene Babb Knadle) is a freelance writer, educator, and voracious reader.
Her short stories, essays, and poems have appeared in magazines, newspapers, and anthologies as well as in the library reference work, Popular Contemporary Writers.
Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart prize. She earned a Bachelor's degree at Harding College, Master's at Stony Brook University, and Doctorate at St. John's University.
She writes in an accessible, plain-speech voice. Her fiction tends to focus on realistic characters even while the setting and plot clearly come from the imagination. In general, her stories do not fit neatly into genre categories; they are aimed at giving the reader an unusual and entertaining experience that takes them "somewhere else," away from their regular lives.
