Kevin was born in San Diego, California and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He'd always had a fascination with both sci-fi and fantasy stories, gravitating toward those types of stories more than any others. He began to write his own stories and poems in high school.

Another fascination grew- his curiosity and enjoyment of wasteland landscapes, where anything is lurking around the corner. Understanding how civilization could get to that point was something he loved to explore, and anything dystopian is also a favorite setting of his.

In 2014, he got an idea for a robot lost in a wasteland, searching for answers to its existence. That idea has become his novel series, A Spark in the Ashes. The journey is far from over- many more tales await!

Kevin lives on Long Island with his wife, two children, and their dog Maisy.

Two hundred miles of wasteland, filled with vicious Errant machines, vengeful Artificers, and primal humans, lay between them and The Machine City, Terranyne.
