Jean Derespina has been a creative writer for many years. In 2021, she self-published her first children's picture book, The Famous Phoebe of Long Island: Phoebe's Adventures at Sailors Haven.

Her second book in the series, The Famous Phoebe of Long Island: Phoebe's Boat Trip to Montauk, followed in 2023.

Jean and her husband, Frank, spent about twenty years boating on the south shore of Long Island. For most of that time, their amazing pup, Phoebe, traveled with them.

Jean is also the founder of The Marketing Gig LLC. Her business focus provides digital sales and marketing content for small businesses.

The Famous Phoebe of Long Island is back on her boat, and this time she's going all the way to Montauk! Visit the tip of Long Island with Phoebe, where she made friends both on land and at sea and learned the importance of helping a friend in need.
