Patricia Walsh has spent most of her life on Long Island. She was born in Brooklyn, and grew up in Nassau County, New York. After she got married, she moved to Suffolk County, residing on the south shore of Long Island where she raised her family. Widowed at any early age, and being an avid reader, she decided to go to college part-time at the age of forty. Pursuing her degree was a long journey of going to school at night, while working a full-time job and raising her family. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in HealthCare Administration and continued on, completing her Master's Degree in Human Services.
Ms. Walsh still resides on the south shore of Long Island where she enjoys dining out at the many local restaurants Long Island has to offer. She also enjoys cooking, travel, writing, spending time with her family and exploring her creative side. She is involved with two local historical societies as a museum clerk and docent. Patricia is the mother of adult twin boys and a grandmother of two. Wizecatz and Dogz is her first book. She is currently working another book.
