Linda Reid-Bryce

I have always loved my time growing up and living on Long Island. I attended John Glenn High School in East Northport, got my B.A. in Art Education from Hofstra University and received my M.A. in English Education at St, John's University. I also studied many areas of the visual arts at The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, and I studied abroad at the Byram Shaw School of Drawing and Painting in London.

My education helped me have a successful career as both an artist and a writer. After working in New York City as an Art Director, I moved to Sweden and worked with clients such as SAAB Cars and Scandinavian IBM.

With the opening of the Eastern Bloc I became a creative consultant in Poland for the United Nations Development Project. I am a recipient of Sweden's "50 Watt Award" in the Annual Report category, have had several solo painting exhibitions in Europe, and have been an invited speaker in both the United States and Europe.

My husband Jim and I have two boys, two panda hamsters named Cupcake and Felix, a fighting fish named Fighty and a gecko named Leo.
